Techmotion software installation system ...+
It is recommended to use win7 system. Some problems may occur in win10 system
-
Techmotion software fails to communicate...+
1) there is a problem with the serial port line; the serial port number is not selected correctly; the serial port is occupied by other software; there is a problem with the computer serial port
2) if the software is not compatible with the computer system, replace the computer and retest
3) if the techmotion software process of the previous operation is not completely closed, enter the task manager to close the process

Precautions for inching operation module...+
After enabling the motor, check whether the current is normal, whether the indicator light is normal and whether the motor brake is open. If there is an alarm, use the debugging software
Read the alarm information and contact our technical personnel for troubleshooting.
When the modules are cascaded, be careful not to rotate the output shaft of the module for multiple turns, which may break the internal cable of the module.

Is the ready status light flashing green...+
If the ready status indicator light flashes slowly (twice per second), it indicates that the motor is not enabled; if the ready status indicator light is always on, green indicates that the motor is in the enabled state; if the ready status indicator light flashes rapidly (four times per second), it indicates that the positive limit or negative limit is set and the movement is limited in the effective state.

Fault status light always on red?+
The drive fault status light is red indicating that an error has occurred. After connecting the drive through techmotion software, you can view the specific error information in the monitoring window.

Why phase failure?+
When hall and encoder are used at the same time, the driver in the module continuously monitors the relationship between hall and encoder and takes it as a redundant feedback system. When the phase angle of encoder is inconsistent with the switch state of hall, the phase fault alarm will appear. In case of this fault, please contact our technical personnel for troubleshooting.

Why is there a voltage limit warning?+
The driver will monitor the PWM duty cycle for 95% and a voltage limit warning will appear if it is reached. As long as it doesn't
Continuous error. This warning is allowed.
The first case: as long as one or two PWM cycles are not exceeded, the temporary voltage limit warning will not limit the voltage. When a PWM amplifier adjusts the duty cycle to control the current of the winding, the PWM duty cycle may reach 95% due to the characteristics of load and adjustment. In this case, the warning will occur intermittently, but it will not cause the increase of tracking error, and the system speed is limited by the limit or position ring. These warnings can be ignored.
The second situation: continuous voltage limit warning under multiple PWM cycles will limit the voltage. In this case, the motor voltage will be limited and the motor can not obtain the compensation voltage of back EMF, IR voltage drop and inductance. The best way to determine the voltage amplitude of the motor in the system is to track the voltage waveform, tracking error, actual current value, etc. Tracking errors continue to occur more than a reasonable number of times. In this case, if the voltage limit warning occurs frequently, the warning cannot be ignored. You can try to reduce the maximum speed, or reduce the acceleration.

Why do tracking errors occur?+
Remove mechanical faults and use techmotion software to clear errors. If there is no mechanical problem, open the error record, clear the record and continue running until the error occurs again, check other errors or warnings that may indicate the source of the problem. The most common cause of error tracking is current limitation.
